ESL STUDENT APPLICATION 

Learn to speak, read and write English, or practice your English in an intermediate or advanced Culture and Conversation Group. Student classes for the Winter session begin the week of January 16, 2018 and end March 24, 2018. 
Fort Lee Library Cardholders who would like to be put on the 
wait list for the Spring Session can complete the above application and return to Sharon Wright.

 

Here is what’s happening during the winter and spring 2018 Sessions.

  • Small group classes - up to 5 students in a beginner to low-intermediate class. Once a week. Registration Required.

  • Culture & Conversation Classes - Practice your intermediate to advanced English Conversation and learn about American culture in a 7-10 student group. Once a week. Registration Required.

  • Conversation Circles - Practice your intermediate to advanced English conversation. You don’t have to come to every class, just come when you want. Please don’t be late though - you must be at the library by the correct starting time! You can expect to take part in conversation, discussions, role-plays, and speaking games. Conversation circles do not offer practice in grammar, writing, or reading. No registration required.

  • ESL Book Club - Have fun reading and discussin short stories with other ESL students and the help of a certified ESL teach. For intermediate to advanced students. Regeistgration Required. Meets every other Monday at 1:15pm beginning January 22nd.
  • Men's Discussion Group - Practice your Engligh while discussing gender roles, stereotypes and expectations in the United States. Registration Required. Meets Fridays at 11:30am beginning January 26th.
