Photocopying, Printing, Faxing, and Notary

Photocopying

Policies:

The library’s photocopying machines can produce black & white or color copies.
The charge is $.15 for black & white copies, $.25 for color copies.
The machines accept coins (no pennies!) or $1.00 bills.
The machines cannot make double-sided copies.

Printing

Pages can be printed from any of the computers in the Reference Department.
Black and white printouts are $.15 per page, and color printouts are $.25 per page.
There is no charge for using the scanner or copy machine to save images directly to a USB drive.
The printers print one-sided only.
Patrons are not permitted to use their own paper in the printers, unless it is the same size (8.5″ x 11″) and texture.
Patrons claim and pay for their printouts in cash at the Reservation Station.

Wireless Printing from Mobile Devices

Print wirelessly from all mobile devices, including laptops, tablets and smart phones.
Submit print jobs from home or in the library and release the job at the library reference desk.                                                                                               For any other questions refer to this form

Notary Public Services

Please call ahead to make an appointment.
Call the Reference Desk at 201-592-3614, Ext. 1 or fill out this form.
Notary Service is limited to three (3) documents per person, per visit.
Notary Service is available free of charge for Fort Lee Library Cardholders. All others, $1 per document.
The person whose signature is being notarized must be present with appropriate identification. A valid current photo identification with a signature is required. A current driver’s license or passport is recommended.
The Library does not supply witnesses. Witnesses must accompany the person whose document is being notarized and must supply current valid photo identification. The Notary cannot act as a witness.
THE LIBRARY PROVIDES ONLY BASIC NOTARY SERVICES. Notary service is not available for mortgage or real estate documents, deeds, wills, living wills, living trusts, codicils or depositions.
Documents in any language other than English cannot be notarized at this facility.
Notaries cannot provide legal advice or counseling regarding documents.
Notaries reserve the right to decline notary services in their absolute discretion.
